BCA Certifiers is committed to the establishment, implementation & continual improvement of our Work Health, Safety and Rehabilitation System through full compliance to AS 4801. We believe that the well-being of people employed at work, or people affected by our work, is a major priority and must be considered during all work performed on our behalf. People are our most important asset and their health and safety is our greatest responsibility. The public shall be given equal priority to that of our employees. We are committed to establishing measurable objectives/targets and monitor our actions to achieve, including:
• To comply with WHSR legislation & achieve an accident free workplace.
• To make health and safety an integral part of every managerial and supervisory position.
• To ensure health and safety is considered in all planning and work activities.
• To involve our employees & stakeholders in the decision making processes through regular communication, consultation and training.
• To provide a continuous program of education and learning to ensure that our employees work in the safest possible manner.
• To identify and control all potential hazards in the workplace through hazard identification and risk analysis.
• To ensure all potential accident/incidents are controlled and prevented.
• To provide effective injury management and rehabilitation for all employees.
The success of our health and safety goals is dependent on:
• Pro-active planning of all work activities with due consideration given to implementing WH&S controls that are suitable to each given situation.
• Understanding the total work process and associated WH&S risks.
• Ensuring the work team is totally committed to achieving our objectives.

The successful operation of our systems relies upon the cooperation and involvement of personnel at all levels working for on or on behalf of our company. We are committed to ensuring these combined policies are conveyed to & understood by each of our stakeholders. We regard this communication and awareness vital to the continued success of our Company and the satisfaction of clients and staff. Polices are available to public via display at our workplaces.
We have recognised the importance of providing our employees with the appropriate training necessary to perform their work and so to ensure each team member fully understands their responsibilities in meeting customer requirements.
Our Systems Manger is authorised to ensure that the requirements of this Quality System are implemented.
Any problems that cannot be resolved by personnel, shall be brought to our attention for final resolution.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
BCA Certifiers has a commitment to protecting the environment including preventing pollution by the establishment, implementation and continual improvement of our EMS Environmental Management System through full compliance to ISO 14001. We are committed to establishing measurable objectives/targets and monitor our actions to achieve, including:
• To comply with Environmental legislation & achieve an incident free workplace.
• To make protecting the environment including preventing pollution an integral part of every managerial and supervisory position.
• To ensure environmental issues are considered in all planning and work activities.
• To involve our employees & stakeholders in the decision making processes through regular communication, consultation and training.
• Establishing an EMS register of our operations showing our proposed environmental controls which can be used for monitoring
• Our company carefully plans each of our projects activities so as to minimise the potential for impact on the environment.
To this end special attention is afforded to client and authority requirements complete with precautions we take to ensure appropriate measures are placed within and outside of our immediate project site area to safeguard against our construction activities.
These measures extend to our subcontractors and suppliers.
